Is this hilarious, sad, or maybe a little bit of both?
A viral moment took over TikTok when DJ Gryffin revealed how he was tricked during one of his own sets by a man posing as Justin Bieber.
The Prank Unfolds
In Gryffin’s TikTok clip, a text overlay cheekily reads:
“How Bustin Jieber duped me during my own set.”
The so-called “Bieber” walked into the venue with confidence, partied with the crowd, and even had a team of people around him, making the act feel believable. With the dark venue and loud music, Gryffin admits the atmosphere only added to the confusion.
The Fake Performance
The impostor’s group asked Gryffin if their “Justin” could jump in and perform the hit track Sorry. On stage, everything seemed smooth — the lookalike sang along, and the crowd appeared convinced.
But soon after, Gryffin discovered the truth:
The man wasn’t Justin Bieber at all — just a clever double who played the part perfectly long enough to pull off the prank.
Reactions and Aftermath
Fans online are divided — some calling it “the funniest club story of the year,” others saying it’s “sad that it worked so well.”
For Gryffin, the prank has at least given him a viral story to tell:
“Dark venue and loud music didn’t help here,” he laughed, admitting the moment still stings a little.
